Approval workflows are automated processes that define the steps a request goes through once submitted in Pivot. When someone submits a purchase request or invoice, the workflow determines who needs to approve it, in what order, and under what conditions. Both requesters and approvers can see a detailed view of the workflow, showing all approval steps for transparency. Workflows can include sequential steps (one after another), parallel steps (multiple approvals at the same time), and conditional steps (triggered only when specific criteria are met, like amount thresholds or vendor status).
